Police say 22-year-old woman was groped on mezzanine level before suspect fled
New York, NY – A search is underway for an unidentified man accused of forcibly touching a woman inside one of Manhattan’s busiest transit hubs Friday night. The incident unfolded at the Grand Central–42 Street subway station, prompting an appeal to the public for help identifying the suspect.
According to the NYPD, a 22-year-old woman was walking on the mezzanine level at approximately 8:47 p.m. when the man approached her. Officials say the suspect grabbed the victim’s buttocks over her clothing before fleeing the scene on foot to an unknown location....
