NYS legalized blood on ambulances, crews still can't use it

In September of 2024, Governor Kathy Hochul signed legislation allowing ground ambulances to carry blood when patients need lifesaving care. But the New York State Department of Health has yet to release regulations to guide this process, leaving emergency service providers in limbo for almost two years.
