Snowstorm no match for Ocean County’s $12M lottery win
Trenton, NJ – A New Jersey Lottery player in Ocean County won a massive $12.3 million Pick-6 jackpot just hours before snow began falling in a winter storm that swept across the state this weekend, lottery officials confirmed.
The winning ticket, which matched all six numbers—07, 09, 10, 17, 25, and 30—was sold late Saturday night at ShopRite #619, located at 501 Route 9 in Waretown. The winner chose the cash option and will receive a lump sum of $5,602,036 before taxes. The store that sold the ticket will receive a $10,000 bonus.
This marks the fifth Pick-6 jackpot of $1 million or more in the past 12 months and the first multimillion-dollar jackpot hit in 2026. The Pick-6 jackpot now resets to $2 million for Monday’s drawing.
Saturday’s jackpot also stands as the biggest so far this year, following four major Pick-6 wins in 2025, including a $32 million prize in Jackson and a $22 million prize in Hudson County.
