INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — More than 310 flood insurance claims have already been filed in Indiana as a result of the recent storm, Indiana’s I-Team has learned.

Between August 11 and August 17, 310 claims have been filed with the National Flood Insurance Program, according to new numbers obtained from the Indiana Department of Insurance.

NFIP policyholders have 60 days from the date damage occurred to file their claim.

There are currently 15,056 policies in force in Indiana providing $3.5 billion in coverage, according to information provided by the Indiana Department of Insurance.
