Over 25,000 fans attend Final Four open practice

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis city officials tell WISH-TV Sports Director Anthony Calhoun that over 25,000 fans attended the Final Four open practices on Friday at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Illinois was the first team to practice, and the Fighting Illini ran out to the court in front of a sea of orange.

The fanbases of Illinois, UConn, Michigan, and Arizona are travelling to Indianapolis for the Final Four.

No. 2 seed UConn matches up against No. 3 seed Illinois in the first semifinal on Saturday at 6:09 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium. No. 1 seed Michigan and No. 1 seed Arizona are scheduled to tip off in the second semifinal game on Saturday at approximately 8:49 p.m.
