Woodstock to benefit the humane society of Hamilton county
FISHERS, Indiana (WISH) — More than 700 people and their dogs participated in the Woofstock 5K and dog walk Saturday morning to raise money for the Humane Society of Hamilton County.
The organization is working toward an $85,000 goal for its Survivor Program, which provides life-saving medical care for animals. The Humane Society has reached 55% of that goal so far.
“The funds from this event go straight to the survivor program, which is our program that takes care of anything that’s above minimum basic veterinary care,” said Amanda Klotsch of the Humane Society of Hamilton County.
