Passaic County man, woman charged with attempted murder in Elmwood Park shooting

Hackensack, NJ – Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced Thursday that Jhamir E. Brown, 29, of Passaic, has been charged with attempted murder and multiple weapons offenses following a December shooting that left a 27-year-old man injured in Elmwood Park. A second individual, Darial P. Hunt, 24, of Paterson, was also charged in connection with the case after investigators found him in possession of hollow-point ammunition.
