‘Pet Pals TV’: Mid-North Food Pantry steps up to help Indy families, pets during tough times

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each and every week, “Pet Pals TV” shares a fun, interesting, and informative story about our four-legged and furry friend population.

On the latest “Pet Pals TV,” host Patty Spitler joined News 8’s Pam Elliot, along with Kelsey Burton, the executive director of Mid-North Food Pantry.

The Mid-North Food Pantry, described as a longtime resource for families facing hardship, is expanding its services to meet growing demand as financial challenges weigh heavily on families in Indianapolis.

Burton notes that financial strain sometimes forces families to surrender their pets when they can no longer afford food or care.
