Pine Bluff police chief speaks on internal investigation after deadly officer-involved shooting

Pine Bluff Police Chief Shawn Davis provided an update on the investigation into the Nov. 21, 2025, shooting of 23-year-old Jeremy Lawrence, which resulted in the Jefferson County prosecutor ruling the use of deadly force justified, and the Pine Bluff Police Department concluding that the responding officers did not violate department policy.
