Police: Mom urged boyfriend to beat 11-year-old, knocking him out; both arrested

Shantia Thomas, 35, and her boyfriend, Eric Washington, 40, were both arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a felony charge of second-degree cruelty to juveniles.
