Powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake rocks the Philippines

An enormous 7.8-magnitude earthquake violently shook the Philippines Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The earthquake struck at about 4:37 p.m. off the coast of General Santos City near Sarangani Bay.
