Public urged to help identify male remains found at serial killer Herb Baumeister’s farm

NOBELSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Hamilton County Coroner’s Office asked the public Wednesday to help identify male remains that were found at Fox Hollow Farm, the estate of serial killer Herb Baumeister.

In the late 90’s, Baumeister would lur gay men to his estate after meeting them from bars and murder them in his home, burying their bodies on his property located in Noblesville. Investigators have uncovered over 10,000 bone fragments and continue to identify his victims to this day.

Only a handful of his victims have been identified.

In 1996, police received permission to search the farm after Baumeister’s wife reportedly became concerned of her husband’s behavior. After learning of a warrant out for his arrest, Baumeister fled to Ontario, where he committed suicide.

According to the coroner’s office, investigator’s have positively identified the unknown victim’s father, Jerome Clarence “Jerry” Harvy of Indianapolis, but have been unable to identify the victim’s mother, preventing positive identificati...
