Purdue earns No. 2 seed in NCAA Tournament

(WISH) — Purdue is a No. 2 seed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament and will face No. 15 seed Queens in the first round.

The game will tip off at 7:35 p.m. on Friday night.

If Purdue wins against Queens, the Boilermakers would play the winner of No. 7 seed Miami and No. 10 seed Missouri in the second round.

Purdue is in the West Region, where Arizona is the No. 1 seed.

It’s the 11th straight NCAA Tournament for the Boilermakers, and the ninth straight tournament Purdue has been a No. 4 seed or better.

Purdue heads into the tournament with a 27-8 record. The Boilermakers won the Big Ten Tournament title, beating Michigan in the championship game.

Last season, Purdue was a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament and made it to the Sweet 16, losing to Houston.
