Quadruple shooting on Indy’s southeast side leaves 2 dead, 2 injured

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A shooting that took place just after 6 a.m. Sunday at Barrington Avenue and Renton Street left two people dead and two injured.

When Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrived to the scene, they found two dead males with gunshot wounds. One man was found inside a vehicle and the other was in the street.

A short time later, police were dispatched to Community East Hospital after an adult male and adult female walked in the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Investigators believe the two sustained their injuries at Barrington Avenue and Renton Street.

The names of those involved have not been released and police believe this is an isolated incident.

No other information has been provided at this time.
