Bronx deli sells winning TAKE 5 ticket worth $18,350 in midday NY Lottery drawing
BRONX, NY — A lucky New Yorker is holding an $18,350 TAKE 5 top-prize ticket after it was sold at a Bronx deli for the March 19 midday drawing, according to the New York Lottery.
The winning ticket was purchased at El Guano Deli Grocery, 81 W. 162nd St. in the Bronx, lottery officials said.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39, with drawings televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim any New York Lottery draw game prize.
The New York Lottery said it remains North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.6 billion in fiscal year 2024–2025 to help support public schools across the state.
