Rare owl species treated at World Bird Sanctuary hospital

A rare seasonal visitor to Missouri is recovering at the World Bird Sanctuary after being hit by a car. One of the smallest owl species in North America, was admitted to its hospital after a concerned citizen found the bird along a roadway near Dittmer, MO.
