Records show years-long custody battle before shooting that left mother, 11-year-old dead at Las Vegas hotel

Friends and teammates honored 11-year-old Addi Smith of Utah after police said she was shot and killed by her mother in an apparent murder-suicide inside their Las Vegas hotel room near the Strip. Documents obtained by 8 News Now show a years-long custody battle preceded the deadly shooting.
