Redistricting judge denies legislature's stay request as "procedurally improper," appeals expected

A new ruling has come down in Utah's redistricting case, after the legislature's attorneys quietly requested a stay in response to some boundary issues with the new map. That request has been denied, and the legislature is expected to appeal to the Utah Supreme Court.
