Remembering Spirit: A rescue dog whose story saved hundreds of animals 

Spirit, a rescue dog who inspired the creation of the Spirit Veterinary Medical Fund, was honored by the County of San Diego for her legacy of helping save hundreds of animals before passing away at the age of 17.
