INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Kicker Blake Grupe is reportedly coming back to Indianapolis this upcoming season.

The Colts and Grupe have agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $1.4 million according to a report from NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

Grupe played five games for the Colts this past season after signing with the team in December. He did not miss a kick for the Colts, going 11-of-11 on his field goal attempts. He also was a perfect 10-of-10 on extra points during the five games.

Colts kicker Spencer Shrader also remains under contract with the team.

Shrader was 13-of-14 on his field goal attempts last season. He was a perfect 14-of-14 on extra points as well before suffering a season-ending knee injury during the team’s game against the Raiders.

The move to sign Grupe likely sets up a battle between the two to become the team’s starting kicker in 2026.
