Salt Lake County District Attorney declines to file charges against officer who shot suspect in May 2025

The Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office (SLCoDA) has announced that they will not be filing charges against a Salt Lake City Police Department officer who shot and injured a man who reportedly tried to hit the officer with a rock.
