San Diego Rodeo faces animal abuse lawsuit

An animal rights group has sued the Padres in hopes of stopping the San Diego Rodeo due to alleged animal abuse, with a horse named "Waco Kid" having died during the 2024 rodeo and a pregnant horse dying during last year's rodeo.
