Scattered light showers today, turning windy and cold on Thursday

Temperatures this morning dropped to around the freezing mark in northern spots, while southern areas stayed mild as clouds rolled in overnight. Temperatures will be slow to warm in northern areas where clouds have now increased. Expect a cloudy and damp day with highs in the mid-40s for most. Some of those southern spots that started in the 40s this morning could return to the upper 40s later today.
