Scattered showers and storms Wednesday, cooler to end the week

Yesterday was just what the doctor ordered after last week's gloomy weather. With lots of sunshine and southerly flow, highs climbed into the lower 70s, making for a perfect early March day. Another pleasant day is ahead with sun and a few extra clouds this afternoon. Highs today will push into the upper 70s and could challenge the record high of 79°, set exactly 10 years ago in 2016. While a slim chance of an evening shower exists, most of today will be dry and pleasant. Tonight will be partly cloudy and mild with lows in the lower 50s.
