A cause of death for Catherine O’Hara, the Canadian actress known for her iconic portrayal of matriarch Moira Rose in the Pop TV sitcom Schitt’s Creek, has been revealed.

According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed on Monday, February 9, that the 71-year-old died from a blot clot in her lungs. Her immediate cause of death is listed as pulmonary embolism, with rectal cancer as the underlying cause.

The outlet was the first to report that O’Hara died less than two weeks ago on January 30.
