Man wounded in Garrett Avenue shooting in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 58-year-old man was injured in a shooting Saturday night in Baltimore’s Eastern District, prompting an investigation by detectives.

The incident happened around 9:13 p.m. on March 14 in the 2400 block of Garrett Avenue.

Officers responding to the area located the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics transported the man to a nearby hospital, where his injuries were considered non-life-threatening.

Detectives in the Eastern District are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
