Showers at times with a switch to snow Saturday, even colder Sunday and breezy | Jan. 9, 2026

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We’ll track another system on Saturday with both rain and snow on deck. This leads to an even more pronounced temperature drop into the back half of the weekend.

Friday night: Mostly cloudy and less windy with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Saturday: On and off rain showers in the morning and afternoon hours. Then, a switchover to some snow Saturday with potential for locally heavier snow bursts. There could be a coating for those that get in on these heavier rates, but overall impacts will be minimal.

Highs in the mid 40s. It will also turn breezy again in the second half of Saturday with 20-30+ MPH wind gusts.
