Southern California starts 2026 off with steady rain 

2026 is here, and it's starting out wet. Much of Southern California woke up on Thursday, New Year’s Day, to steady precipitation -- a continuation of the rain from New Year's Eve. A Flood Watch had already been issued on Wednesday evening for the entire region; it is tentatively scheduled to expire Thursday evening, the National Weather Service says.   [...]
