‘SpongeBob’ film embraces sweet childish humor

SpongeBob and his Bikini Bottom friends have provided a sweet variation of humor for more than 25 years on television. There have been some more mature moments but overall, the strength of the characters comes from an innocence that entertains adults and engages children (or childish adults).
