BRAZIL, Ind. (WISH) — The driver of a disabled semi was busted by state police after troopers pulled over to help, only to find marijuana hiding in the cab.

Anthony Brown, 42, of Indianapolis, faces preliminary charges of marijuana possession after his arrest Sunday morning.

According to the Indiana State Police, a trooper in Clay County noticed Brown’s disabled semitruck on westbound Interstate 70 near the 28-mile marker, just a few miles southeast of Brazil.

The trooper stopped to help Brown, but reportedly “detected indicators of criminal activity.”

Brown refused to get out of the truck when asked, so the trooper removed him and searched the vehicle.
