BEECH GROVE, Ind. (WISH)- Support for the Beech Grove Police Department is stretching beyond the station and into the city’s storefronts.

Businesses across downtown Beech Grove are placing signs in the windows, honoring officer Brian Elliott and standing behind the department during a difficult week.

People in Beech Grove tell News 8 they wanted to act quickly to show their appreciation for officers who patrol these same streets every day.

“You can see that it’s heavy around here, a lot of hearts are hurting but we will come back stronger because we are Beech Grove. Hornet nation, we’ll get through anything,” said Stacy Eversole, owner of E.C.K Houses LLC.
