Suspect, officer identified in East Village police shooting

On April 15, an officer-involved shooting occurred in San Diego's East Village neighborhood, resulting in the suspect being tased and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the victim was unharmed and no officers were hurt during the response.
