Teen assaulted, robbed aboard F train near Queens station, NYPD says

Queens, NY – An 18-year-old man was punched repeatedly and robbed aboard a northbound F train Tuesday night as it approached a busy Queens subway station, according to the NYPD. The suspects fled on foot after taking the victim’s identification card, leaving investigators searching for three unidentified individuals.

The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. as the train neared the Court Square–23rd Street station within the 108th Precinct and Transit District 20. Police said the group approached the victim before launching the attack.
