Teen shot overnight in Baltimore as police launch investigation

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 17-year-old was shot overnight in Baltimore, prompting an ongoing police investigation.

Officers responded around 2:33 a.m. on March 19 to the 1200 block of Quantril Way after receiving reports of a shooting.

When they arrived, police found the teen suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Detectives are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
