Tennessee biomarker bill could make cancer, chronic illness treatments more personalized

A Tennessee bill that would require health insurance and TennCare to cover biomarker testing, which gives doctors more information about a patient's genes and disease to help them better determine the most effective treatment, has unanimously passed the House and received bipartisan support.
