The Champs Are Here: Lions Return Home as DI Non-Select State Champions

MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD)— The newly crowned Division I Non-Select State Champs returned to Monroe—partying like it was 1989. The Ouachita Lion faithful were up bright and early to celebrate the teams’ 21-20 win over the Ruston Bearcats. The 36-year drought is over and once again—the Ouachita Lions can call themselves champions.
