SAN JOSE, Calif. (WISH) — Purdue senior forward Trey Kaufman-Renn was the hero of Purdue’s Sweet 16 win against Texas on Thursday, tipping in the game-winning shot with less than a second remaining.

WISH-TV Sports Director Anthony Calhoun spoke with Kaufman-Renn on Friday, and Kaufman-Renn shared that he received over 1,500 texts after the game-winner.

But there was one text that stood out the most to Kaufman-Renn.
