Thousands of SDG&E customers lose power on New Year's Day

Thousands of San Diego County residents were without power Thursday morning due to multiple outages, some of which were linked to severe weather conditions, impacting Logan Heights, Mountain View, Lincoln Park, Clairemont, Bay Park, Morena, El Cajon, and La Mesa.
