Tip time for Pacers at Hawks moved up due to weather

ATLANTA, Ga. (WISH) — The Indiana Pacers game in Atlanta on Monday has been moved up due to inclement weather.

The Pacers will now play the Hawks at 1:30 p.m. Eastern in State Farm Arena, instead of the previously scheduled 7:30 p.m. Many places across the metro Atlanta area have closed due to the severe winter storm. The area has been hit with extensive ice and is expecting extremely cold temperatures Monday.

Indiana heads to Atlanta after defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 117-114 in OKC on Friday night. The Pacers have won five of the last nine games while the Hawks come in on a two-game win streak. Atlanta is currently on the playoff bubble as the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, Indiana’s 11-35 record is third worst in the league.

The Pacers return home on Wednesday when they host the Chicago Bulls in Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tip time for that game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern.
