INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We’re in for a streak of winter weather with colder air and multiple chances for snow.

Tuesday night: Some showers are possible south of Indy with temperatures settling into the mid 40s by midnight and upper 30s by daybreak Wednesday.

Wednesday: Prepare for a transition of rain to snow Wednesday morning into afternoon with potential for some locally heavy snow bursts. Then, we’ll track some lake effect snow with a stiff northwesterly wind in place into Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
