
(The Center Square) – Donald Trump Jr. praised Georgia gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson in a Monday social media post but said it was not an endorsement.
Jackson is locked in a tight race with Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, who received President Donald Trump’s endorsement last year before Jackson entered the race. Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp endorsed Jones on Sunday.
“When China threatened our amoxicillin supply, Rick saved the last amoxicillin manufacturing facility in America because he knows we can’t let China control our entire supply of antibiotics,” Trump Jr. said in the post. “When the U.S. faced an oil refining shortage and the woke banks wouldn’t finance a new one – Rick stepped up again and became the largest outside investor.”
Trump Jr. called Jackson a “good man.” He said in a comment that he thought Jones was a good guy, too.
“My only point is that no matter who wins tomorrow, it’s a victory for MAGA,” Trump Jr. said.
