WASHINGTON (WISH) — President Donald Trump will attend the College Football Playoff National Championship game featuring the Indiana Hoosiers and the Miami Hurricanes on Monday night in Miami, the White House confirmed Thursday night.
The president will depart for Miami from Palm Beach, Florida, on Monday. He will head to Palm Beach on Friday.
His schedule shows he will arrive at the game at Hard Rock Stadium at 7:50 p.m., which would be 20 minutes after the scheduled kickoff.
It won’t be his first college football game this season. He attended the 126th Army-Navy Game between the Navy Midshipmen and the Army Black Knights at M&T Bank Stadium on Dec. 13 in Baltimore.
It won’t be his first CFP title game either. He attended the 2018 game between Alabama and Georgia in Atlanta, and the 2020 game in between LSU and Clemson in New Orleans. His wife, Melania, attended the 2020 game with him.
