'Trying to fill his shoes is really difficult': Garden City appoints interim mayor

The Garden City town council held a special meeting Friday to appoint an interim mayor in wake of Mayor Mike Leonhardt’s death in April. In a unanimous decision, the council chose Pat Argyle to fill the role through the end of 2027.
