Two 18-year-old suspects in Mississippi murder caught in Kokomo

KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) — Two 18-year-old’s were arrested Sunday morning for murder after Kokomo Police received an out-of-state call claiming the suspects might be in the area.

Kokomo Police Department was contacted by the Vicksburg Police Department in Mississippi Saturday night in reference to suspects in a Vicksburg murder possibly being in Kokomo.

Kokomo police say they located the suspects vehicle at a residence east of Kokomo and conducted a search of the residence at 8 a.m. on Sunday.

After a brief negotiation, Arkeyveion Stamps and Quintin Wilson were taken into custody for first degree murder.

No other information was provided regarding the crime or the suspects.
