DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Bahrain sounded its missile alert sirens for a second time Thursday morning as Iran retaliated over U.S. airstrikes targeting it.
It wasn’t clear if there had been any damage in Bahrain, Kuwait or Qatar, all of which sounded sirens Thursday morning over the Iranian attacks.
The U.S. airstrikes, now in their second day, came after Iran launched attacks targeting ships traveling through the Strait of Hormuz on a route near Oman, avoiding Tehran’s control.
