Utah legislature asks Utah Supreme Court to stay redistricting ruling; Utah County Clerk asks to join case

The Utah legislature has asked the state's high court to halt the recent redistricting ruling that ushered in a new map for the 2026 election, filing a stay for a permanent injunction to keep the status quo and use Utah's 2021 Congressional map instead.
