A Bedford County judge sentenced a 21-year-old woman to one year in jail after she admitted to abusing a toddler she had been trusted to babysit.

Bedford County, VA – A Virginia woman will serve jail time after admitting to repeatedly abusing a toddler girl she was caring for as a babysitter, according to court proceedings in Bedford Circuit Court.

Authorities said Carly Rae Webb, 21, had been entrusted with the care of the child by a family that considered her a close friend.
