WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — Westfield city government leaders broke ground Tuesday on Grand on Main, a $105 million mixed-use development designed to transform downtown with luxury living and high-end retail.
The BW Development project in collaboration with two construction companies — Indianapolis-based BW Construction and Chicago-based Skender — will include 216 “upscale” multifamily homes and over 60,000 square feet of retail and office space.
In September, Westfield announced Skender had joined the The Grand on Main, formerly known as Jersey 32. The Westfield City Council approved the project on July 14 for the southeast corner of State Road 32 and Poplar Street. News 8 first reported on the project in May.
A public-private partnership with Westfield city government includes a tax-increment finance district to support a new 575-space parking garage.
Grand on Main also will feature three rooftop amenity plazas, work-from-home suites, a golf simulator, a cold plunge and a sauna, and a pool.
