Lizton, Indiana cleans up after storm damage
LIZTON, Ind. (WISH) — The roofs of Tri-West High School and Middle School were damaged in a strong storm Wednesday morning in northwestern Hendricks County.
Superintendent David Hobaugh said North West Hendricks School Corp. said in an email to News 8, “We sustained some damage to the high school and middle school roofs as well as having multiple mini barns destroyed. Fences across campus were blown down and damaged. Bleachers were blown across the tennis courts and soccer fields and destroyed as well as having many trees down.”
He said school was scheduled to start later Wednesday, so students were not on the campus when the storm hit. No injuries were reported.
