Woman Fired by Strava After Arrest for Drunken Assault at San Francisco Restaurant

A shocking video circulating on TikTok has people asking the same question: What actually happened at Hazie’s?

The now-viral clip shows a visibly intoxicated woman screaming at, lunging toward, and physically attacking staff at the upscale San Francisco restaurant before being forcibly removed — and the fallout has been swift.

The woman was later identified by the San Francisco Police Department as Shireen Afkari, a senior manager of growth marketing and retention at Strava, according to her now-deleted LinkedIn profile. After the video gained traction online, Strava confirmed that Afkari is no longer employed by the company.

“We are aware of an employee who exhibited extremely concerning off-hours behavior,” Strava said in a statement shared on Instagram. “We don’t condone violence of any kind and this does not reflect the standards we expect of our team. This past Monday, we made the decision to end the individual’s employment.”
